Nigel Dairies was established by the Van Heerden family almost 60 years ago and spanned 3 generations.
The business eventually changed ownership, establishing itself as one of the few Black, female-owned dairies of its size, with an all-female management team.
At Nigel Dairies, our mission is to play a small but significant role in transformation within our sector, while upskilling our employees, creating employment in our town, and producing premium products at accessible prices.
Our hero products are our pasteurised, full cream milk sourced from local, small scale farmers and our rich creamy aMasi.
Small batch made yogurts, drinking yogurt, fresh cream, and artisanal butter round out our range.
While we work toward growing our market and introducing new technologies, we strive to maintain the values and quality of a small family-run enterprise.
